If every youngster ran to improve their times, they would see the great possibilities for improvement in any skill they wanted to acquire. Hear Charlotte Lettis:
I found that running gave me a simple way to test who I am. Every time you set foot on a starting line, you make a major date with yourself. You go to the line, then run as fast as you can. Running is hard, and when you push through the pain, you look into the depth of who you are as a person. I found that I was much braver, stronger, more courageous than I had realized.
