Males dominate politics, business, development, and religion, all of which pushes to increase population. Males are why we have a much overcrowded planet, which has killed most of wild Nature. It is up to women – Amartya Sen has it right – to refuse cooperation:
Advancing gender equality . . . may also be one of the best ways of saving the environment, and countering the dangers of overcrowding and other adversities associated with population pressure. The voice of women is critically important for the world’s future – not just for women’s future.
