What is the Saunterer’s position on animal research? Exactly that of Kathleen Schormann, which is:
If I actually believed that animal research saves millions of human lives, yes, I absolutely would vote not to save those humans, no matter their relationship with me or lack thereof. If animal research would somehow cause me to be less ill or allow me to walk or save my life, I would vote for sickness or a wheelchair or death rather than to have animals suffer and/or die to keep me well, ambulating, or alive. Simply put, I do not have the right to make that decision for other beings.
Most researchers state that the animals they experiment upon don't suffer. My god, the arrogance of their statements is appalling. Caged all the days of their boring, fearful lives, forced or cajoled into every situation, deafened, injected with diseases and anesthesia, drugged, burned, subjected to multiple surgeries, addicted, blinded, sometimes mentally or physically abused by their caretakers, then finally killed - this isn't suffering? Researchers do not have the right. I do not have the right. We do not have the right.

I must say I strongly agree with you We do not have the right!
