(1) Become conscious of the history and status of the organisms around us. They carry genetic information about our common ancestors. We have the same roots, and together we have evolved on parallel paths since the dawn of time. We should understand the diversity of life is part of us.
(2) Marvel at the many strategies for survival and reproduction.
(3) Become aware of the beauty of life. To know nature better, to feel it better, to become sensitive to all life around us-–that is above all what is missing. To redress this lack is the first necessary action.
