If done right, from college we learn more than the subjects we study and receive degrees for. Best of all, we learn how to educate ourselves for the rest of our lives, verifying Edward Gibbon’s point:
Every man who rises above the common level has received two educations: the first from his teachers; the second, more personal and important, from himself.
